Snow?
No, not snow, but a beautiful carpet of snowdrops in the churchyard in my Mum and Dads village. Aren't they just spectacular? Hamish kept calling them raindrops which was so sweet!
This is just a quick post today but back again tomorrow with more Spring-like photos and tales of Burns night. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

Oh how lovely Fiona! I miss seeing snowdrops in January ~ we are lucky to see spring flowers by April! It seems like an awfully long winter at times ~ especially as we have just had yet another snowfall.
Enjoy your weekend.

Oh, how lucky you are to be able to enjoy snowdrops already! At the moment all we can do is enjoy real snow here in Norway. But before the last snowfall I was able to see quite a few bulbs sticking their heads up from the ground. But it will be a few months still before we get to see any flowers, I am afraid. But meanwhile I can enjoy your lovely photos of snowdrops!

Ohhh you lucky thing to have such a gorgeous place to visit. I'm so jealous. That and the squirrels always seem to eat all my snowdrop bulbs so my yearly dream of a carpet of them is always cruely dashed!

How beautiful.. I'm desperately searching for signs of spring at the moment, its so uplifting. No snow here either, and it doesnt look likely for tomorrow.

Hi Fiona,
The snowdrops are beautiful, but I believe they may well be replaced by real snow tomorrow?.....
Keep warm!

I love snowdrops.. there is something enchanting and romantic about them..
If you want to see a fabulous landscape of snowdrops.. the Rococco Gardens at Painswick have a stunning collection.

Oh my it remembers me of the house I used to stay when I lived in England. We had thousands of snowdrops in the garden and I loved them so much. Thanks for reminding me Fiona. England is so beautiful!!

How pretty. I don't think they are out on my cold hillside, although I have seen them elsewhere. Had a lovely weekend. Lugging sleepers around!

What a beautiful sight! It makes you feel so much better doesn't it when you know that Spring is not that far away (although I'm worried she might go into hiding for a while!) Have a good week
